How To Use: 1. First remove any rust existing on specimen. 2. Select an appropriate file and then scrape the specimen. If surface doesn't scratch, go to a higher Rockwell number file. If scratches appear on specimen, it's hardness is less than the Rockwell number shown on the file. Therefore, a lower number file should be tried.
